Your privacy matters at Cosmic Kickstart.

1. Overview

Cosmic Kickstart respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Cosmic Kickstart mobile app, website, support services, and related features.

2. Information you provide

We may receive information you choose to provide when using account, support, reflection, feedback, or similar features. Depending on the feature, this may include your email address when you contact support or report a bug, text you enter into the app, saved preferences, favourites, reflections, and communications you choose to send to support. Cosmic Kickstart does not require you to create a Cosmic Kickstart username or account to use the app.

If you submit a bug report through the Cosmic Kickstart website, we receive the email address, issue description, and any screenshot or photo you voluntarily attach.

3. App activity and technical information

Cosmic Kickstart may process information necessary to operate the service, maintain account state, remember settings and preferences, deliver requested features, diagnose errors, protect the service from misuse, and improve reliability. Technical information may include device or app information, timestamps, error information, and basic service activity where generated by the technologies used to operate the app.

4. Notifications and device permissions

If Cosmic Kickstart offers notifications or requests access to a protected device resource, the app will request permission through the applicable operating-system controls. You can change those permissions later in your device settings. We aim to request only permissions that are relevant to the feature you choose to use.

5. How we use information

Information is used to provide and maintain Cosmic Kickstart; save user-selected settings and content; provide requested app features; respond to support and bug reports; troubleshoot problems; maintain security; and improve the performance and reliability of the service.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Apple’s App Store processes subscription purchases, introductory trials, renewals, cancellations, and payment information for the iOS version of Cosmic Kickstart. Cosmic Kickstart does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple. Apple’s handling of purchase and payment information is governed by Apple’s own privacy practices and terms.

7. Third-party services

Cosmic Kickstart may rely on service providers to host, operate, secure, or support portions of the app and website. Information is shared with a service provider only as needed for the service it performs. We expect service providers that process user information on our behalf to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable requirements.

Some features may open third-party services, such as music platforms, using external links. Once you leave Cosmic Kickstart, the third party’s own privacy practices apply.

The website bug-report form uses a form-delivery service to transmit the information and image you voluntarily submit to Cosmic Kickstart support.

8. 18+ Unfiltered Mode

Cosmic Kickstart includes an optional 18+ Unfiltered Mode containing more mature language and themes. Your choice to enable or disable this mode may be stored as a preference so the app can provide the experience you selected. The mode does not change our commitment to protecting user information.

9. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate operational or security records, respond to support matters, comply with applicable legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup retention requirements.

10. Your choices and data requests

Cosmic Kickstart does not require a Cosmic Kickstart username or account. You can change applicable app permissions through your device settings and change available in-app preferences through Cosmic Kickstart.

If you want to ask about personal information you have voluntarily provided to us through support or bug-report channels, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, contact koltstees@gmail.com.

Subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. Subscription management, cancellation, and applicable purchase history are handled through your Apple ID and Apple’s subscription controls.

11. Children

Cosmic Kickstart is not intended to use 18+ Unfiltered Mode for anyone under 18. Users should follow the age requirements and content controls presented in the app and applicable App Store age-rating restrictions.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through Cosmic Kickstart. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Cosmic Kickstart evolves or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate.
