Straightforward terms for using Cosmic Kickstart.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of Cosmic Kickstart, including the mobile app, website, and related services. By using Cosmic Kickstart, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Purpose of Cosmic Kickstart

Cosmic Kickstart provides motivational, reflective, lifestyle, entertainment, and related content and tools. Content may range from thoughtful and uplifting to direct, humorous, or mature depending on the features and settings you choose.

3. 18+ Unfiltered Mode

Cosmic Kickstart includes an optional 18+ Unfiltered Mode that may contain strong language, crude humour, mature themes, or other material intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to enable or use this mode. If you do not want this content, keep 18+ Unfiltered Mode disabled.

4. Not professional advice

Cosmic Kickstart is intended for motivation, reflection, lifestyle, and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for decisions and actions you take based on content you encounter through the service.

5. No Cosmic Kickstart account required

Cosmic Kickstart does not currently require you to create a Cosmic Kickstart username or account. Certain preferences and app data may be stored on your device or through technologies used to provide the app’s features.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Cosmic Kickstart, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use automated methods to abuse the service, violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, or use the service in a way that could damage Cosmic Kickstart or other users.

7. User-provided content

You retain ownership of text, images, feedback, reflections, or other material you provide to Cosmic Kickstart. You give us permission to process that material only as reasonably necessary to provide the feature you requested, operate and secure the service, respond to support requests, or otherwise as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Cosmic Kickstart’s branding, software, design, original content, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Cosmic Kickstart and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed by law or expressly permitted by us, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected portions of the service.

9. Third-party services and links

Cosmic Kickstart may provide links that open third-party services, including music platforms. Those services are operated independently and are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and account requirements. We are not responsible for the operation or content of third-party services.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features as Cosmic Kickstart evolves. We work to keep the service available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

11. App Store terms

If you obtain Cosmic Kickstart through Apple’s App Store, your use of the app is also subject to the applicable App Store terms and Apple’s standard end-user license agreement unless a valid custom license agreement applies. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Cosmic Kickstart beyond obligations imposed by applicable law or Apple’s own terms.

12. Subscriptions, cancellation, and access

Cosmic Kickstart may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store, including introductory trial periods where offered. Subscription pricing, duration, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and billing details are presented in the app before purchase and are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms.

Subscriptions are associated with your Apple ID rather than a Cosmic Kickstart username or account. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through Apple’s subscription settings. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily end access before the conclusion of the already-paid subscription period or applicable trial, subject to Apple’s policies.

Where supported, the app provides a Restore Purchases function so eligible App Store purchases can be restored. We may suspend access to the service where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cosmic Kickstart is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees that every feature or item of content will always be available, accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for every user. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use as the service evolves or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
